Typical End Uses of Kraft Paper Two of the primary applications for Kraft paper are void filling and wrapping products for protection.  These two applications make up about 50% of the Kraft business.  Other uses are divider sheets, brick manufacturing, wrapping reams of paper, dunnage, to catch overspray in industrial manufacturing, and for the backing in picture frames.  Kraft paper is also used to wrap packages before mailing and interleaving between rolls of flat metal or metal sheets.
